Sue Goodwin
President & Owner
Sue’s passion for business began in her mid-twenties when she helped launch a new business-to-business ad agency in the Toronto area. Not afraid to roll up her sleeves and get into the trenches (mentally and physically!), her experience taught her what it takes to make a business thrive, stand apart from the competition and build a successful culture.
Since onboarding as President at GM Packaging, Sue has been transforming the company to achieve these goals and more. She knows developing a successful culture takes teamwork and an environment where people are continuously mentored, encouraged and inspired to be the best they can be.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys working out with kettlebells, learning Italian, reading and volunteering in the community. She is an active member of TEC Canada and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB).
Sidh Sharma
Retail Customer Service Representative
With an innate passion for interacting with people, Sidh excels at listening to customers’ needs and resolving their queries effectively. He genuinely enjoys engaging with individuals, forming connections, and providing exceptional customer experiences.
Sidh understands the importance of building strong relationships in his role. He actively collaborates with the retail team to address customer inquiries, process orders seamlessly, and ensure timely delivery or pick-ups. His dedication to exceptional service and attention to detail contribute to a positive and satisfying experience for every customer.
When not immersed in his work, Sidh indulges in his love for cricket. A die-hard fan, he eagerly follows matches and enjoys discussing the game with fellow enthusiasts. In his leisure time, he also cherishes moments spent with his friends and family, creating lasting memories. He recognizes the benefits of unwinding and relaxing outside of his professional responsibilities.
Sunil Srikishun
Shipping and Receiving Associate
Sunil is responsible for GM Packaging’s two warehouses, including supervising a shipping/receiving assistant. He oversees and participates in picking orders, preparing them for shipment and coordinating shipments. He receives all orders at both warehouses. He further assists the purchaser in inventory projections and monitors inventory stock. He’s also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all warehouse equipment.
Sunil appreciates the great people he works with at GM Packaging, and enjoys ensuring the work environment is clean and very well organized.
When he’s not working, Sunil enjoys hanging out with his children, playing sports and watching movies.
Keerthi Adapa
Warehouse and Fabrication Associate
Keerthi is responsible for picking customer orders, helping customer pick up orders, restocking the store, strapping TV and wardrobe boxes, keeping the shipping area clean, receiving orders from vendors and assisting in the fabrication of products.
Keerthi enjoys the challenges of his job and likes being busy. He says it’s a pleasure to take responsibility for assisting customers, loading boxes in their vehicles. He also likes teaming up with his fellow GM Packaging employees.
Outside of work, Keerthi keeps busy taking his son to math tutoring programs. He also likes to watch movies and cricket, follow political news from his home town or get together with family and friends.
Ellen Postill
Purchasing and Inventory Management Associate
Ellen focuses on purchasing for GM Packaging. She monitors inventory levels and ensures products are ordered as per criteria. She’s responsible for initiating and completing product cycle counts, and for monitoring and tracking fabricated and custom products within the operations.
Ellen relishes the daily variety at her desk, as she never know what she might be asked to try and source for customers. She also enjoys liaising with vendors.
When she’s away from work, Ellen is always striving to get 10,000+ steps every day! She also likes to reconnect in nature, read, listen to audiobooks and podcasts, go to concerts, wander around the ROM and play video games.
Wendy Carlesle
Fabrication Associate
Wendy’s key role is to assemble custom products. She also trains and supervises all new fabrication employees, ensuring quality control standards are maintained. As well, she works with the purchaser to advise when fabrication labels and or other fabrication materials are low and need to be restocked. Wendy is also in charge of keeping the fabrication area organized and helps restock the retail store when required.
Wendy really enjoys working with her fellow associates, and observes that fabrication work keeps her active and fit.
When she’s not at work, Wendy loves to cook, watch movies and have company over to her home.
