Labels make your move go smoothly … and safely

As you pack and prepare to move – home or business – using labels on your boxes and containers will make so many things simpler, and even safer. Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Protect a box’s contents – If the label includes words like “Fragile”, “This side up” and so on, where applicable, movers can avoid damaging a box’s contents.
  • Direct a box to its new location – Where possible, use a box’s label to direct which room or area the box is to be placed at the new location.
  • Colour coding for quick identification – Where appropriate, if you and your moving team have an agreed-upon scheme for identifying locations or other information by colour codes, simple coloured labels or dots can be a quick way ensure boxes go to (or are in) the correct places.
